Yes. The Ace Learning curriculum is aligned with the National Curriculum. The tutors are trained to teach using Curriculum approved teaching methods to ensure that the children have consistency with how they learn at school. This means that your child can always take the skills that they have mastered with us back into the classroom. In most cases, we surpass the National Curriculum for that year and move on to stretch your child’s ability.
-
At Ace, we work on a student-tutor ratio of six to one unless otherwise stated. This means that one tutor works with a maximum of six students. Each student is working on his/her own individual programme. We feel that this creates a good balance of support for the children whilst encouraging them to work independently to help them gain confidence back in the classroom.
-
Our tutors are the most important factor in children’s progress at ACE Learning. All of our tutors are trained in the curriculum, and teach using a range of interactive resources that adapt to each child’s individual ability, challenging them at exactly the right level. By getting to know each child as an individual, the tutors also play an essential role in boosting children’s confidence and motivation for learning.
-
Yes. Hundreds of gifted children benefit from attending Ace Learning. We tailor our courses to each child’s individual requirements. We design the course around the child’s academic ability rather than their age, allowing gifted children to work at their own pace. At your initial consultation, you will be able to discuss in more detail your child’s personal goals and requirements.
-
We do accept 4-year-olds at ACE Learning on a case-by-case basis. If your child is 4 years old but has started in Reception/P1, please contact us to discuss their requirements and we will be happy to help.
