Creative Writing is an integral part of most 11+ Grammar and Independent School entrance exams and could be the deciding factor in your child securing a place at your first-choice school. Also, it is not the easiest of the entrance exam element either.
What is Creative Writing?
Creative writing for entrance exams is where your child will be assessed on creativity, formulation of sentences, continuous engagement with the reader (i.e. the Examiner), use of advanced vocabulary, SPaG and a lot more under strict time constraints. It is a continuous learning journey and, unlike Maths, cannot be mastered in a short span of time.
How can we help?
With our unique and proven approach, we extricate the creative flair within our students and blossom their love of writing with step-by-step guidance. These engaging, interactive and fun sessions are a surefire way to instil key techniques and understanding required for the entrance exams. In the past, this course has also benefited KS3 students.
Key acronyms and checklists are thoroughly embedded during this course so your child will structure and utilise their time efficiently to produce an impressive writing text in the 'real' exam.
Begin your journey with us now and give your child the best chance to 'ace' the entrance exams.
